Solution

No Dell Data Safe Local Backup application is available in win-8 pre-installed OS to create the Recovery Media.

Follow the below steps:

Press Windows key & type “Dell” 

Select the Dell Support Center option

Select the Backup Tab 

Under backup select the Download option

Once you click on download a webpage will open & you will get the option to Download

Download the file (205MB) http://dbrdownload.dellbackupandrecovery.com/Setup.exe

Install the file & Restart the system

Once the system restarted automatically a Dell Backup & Recovery icon will be created on the Desktop

The system will start creating the System image (this will take depends on the system & application installed in the system)

May be (3 to 4 hours)

Then Double click on the Icon Dell Backup & Recovery Icon on the desktop, Now you will find an option to create the Recovery Media
